Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Books I'd Recommend to YA Non-Contemporary Readers (Like Myself)

Normally, I'm not a big contemporary-novel kind of person. I'm very much into the paranormal and supernatural, especially when mythology ties into it. But I've definitely read some contemporaries that have forced me to rethink my love-hate relationship for them. Here they are:

Have you read any of these? Let me know in the comments!

  1. I freaking LOVE Wait for You. And Anna of course is a cult classic in the blogosphere.

I used to not be too crazy about contemps either, but lately I can't get enough of them.

  2. More than half of these on my TBR pile. I am definitely not a contemporary person either. I just got a bunch of Colleen Hoover books though so I am going to read those soon. And Laura is always bugging me to read the Fault In Our Stars. It'll happen soon.

I always appreciate comments and cherish every one of them. THIS IS AN AWARD-FREE ZONE. I don't have the time to fulfill the requirements for the awards, but thank you so much for thinking of me. I just ask for no vulgarity, and if you have any issues with my reviews or writing style, please e-mail me instead of commenting. Now, vent to your heart's content!
