My Poisonous Book Haul (67)

This has now become my replacement for In My Mailbox. Since that feature has made some changes, I decided that I needed to move on as well. This feature has a name that's more catered to my blog's theme, but it's exactly the same. Basically, you create a post of the books you either received in the mail/e-mail, bought at a bookstore, or borrowed from the library.

Sorry, no video again. I don't have many physical books to show you this week and honestly I'm a bit too lazy and stressed out with midterms coming up to make a video. But I did get some fun books this week!

Allegiant (Divergent #3) by Veronica Roth [signed]
I bought this special edition from Barnes & Noble, mostly because it's signed. I don't know how B&N swung this, but I'm glad I was able to get a signed edition now that the series is becoming such a big thing. I remember being in Michigan for one of her first signings after Divergent came out, and the idea of wading through the masses just to get a signature for someone I've already seen multiple times and even had dinner with all those years ago seems pointless. I'm just hoping I won't be disappointed as many other people have been with this book, but since I've sadly read mostly terrible reviews, I don't have very high standards.

The Testing (The Testing #1) by Joelle Charbonneau
I bought this with Allegiant. The way I figured it, I'd buy the end of a great dystopian series as well as the start of a great new dystopian series! I also have the second book for review, so I would have had to get it eventually.

These are all from Netgalley and Edelweiss, and I starred the ones I'm really excited for:
Netgalley & Edelweiss
Simon & Schuster
Spencer Hills Press
Walker Childrens
Starry Sky Publishing
Random House

What did you get in your book haul? Let me know in the comments!

I always appreciate comments and cherish every one of them. THIS IS AN AWARD-FREE ZONE. I don't have the time to fulfill the requirements for the awards, but thank you so much for thinking of me. I just ask for no vulgarity, and if you have any issues with my reviews or writing style, please e-mail me instead of commenting. Now, vent to your heart's content!
