Better Late Than Never Reading Challenge Info and Sign-Ups!

Hi everyone! I know I've been a but MIA, but I'm hoping to get more reading AND writing done. I'm actually pretty deep in writing my first draft again for my novel, so I haven't been reading or blogging as much. And school and now work are going to make it even crazier! But I know that I need to get these old review books off my shelves and into my life. There's no way better way to do that than with a reading challenge!

It's called the Better Late Than Never ARC Challenge!

Does looking at your ARC pile stress you out? Do you suffer from NetGalley Guilt? Have you gotten so behind in your ARC reading that older ARCs have gotten pushed aside? Well then this challenge is for you. The Windy PagesNite Lite Book Reviews and The Reader's Antidote have all teamed up and are challenging ourselves to whittle down that ARC pile. This challenge will run from October 1st - December 31st, 2013. The rules are simple:
  • Read as many older review books as you can, making way for the new year and new books!
  • Books may be physical ARCs or digital ARCs.
  • For book to qualify, release date must be at older than 6 months (release date earlier than May 1, 2013)
  • Please do a wrap up post at the end of each month so we can check your progress.
  • And if you are participating, there will most likely be a chance at a prize at the end so keep a look out!
Link up below and good luck!

We also compiled a mass amount of buttons and banners, so feel free to choose from any one of these. A couple of them have Crystal's blog on there, but we're not sure if she's hosting or not. Either way, feel free to pick whatever combo tickles your fancy:

I have such a long list that it seems extremely pointless to tell you what I plan on reading. There will also be books coming out this fall that I know I'm going to read right away that aren't old review books, but otherwise I'm going to try and stay on track. This is going to be a lot of fun, and we all hope that you can join in :)

What do you plan to read for this challenge? Let me know in the comments!

  1. Love the banner Nicole! Good luck on the challenge! I hope we get through a lot of reading!

I always appreciate comments and cherish every one of them. THIS IS AN AWARD-FREE ZONE. I don't have the time to fulfill the requirements for the awards, but thank you so much for thinking of me. I just ask for no vulgarity, and if you have any issues with my reviews or writing style, please e-mail me instead of commenting. Now, vent to your heart's content!
