Forbidden Friday (41)~My Poison Pile (43) + On the Blog This Week (33) + Tip of the Week (28)

Forbidden Friday is a blog feature created here at The Reader's Antidote, with my three features My Poison Pile, On the Blog This Week, and Tip of the Week.

My Poison Pile is a feature created by me. It features my current read and the next four books that I plan on reading.
So since I've been re-reading The Sorcerer's Stone, I haven't had much time to read Rush. But because I have to read a book for a blog tour in June, I'm going to push Rush back one book and come back to it.

On the Blog This Week is pretty self-explanatory, but I basically recap what's been happening on the blog this past week.

Tip of the Week is where I endow some random tidbit of information onto you, whether it's with books, blogging or life!
I've said something like this before, but you can't compare a book with the movie. I just saw The Great Gatsby tonight, and while I know that it's not exactly like the book, I think it was really well-done and the acting was phenomenal all around. You have to think of movies and books as separate entities, even if they are the same story. If you expect movies to always be like the books, you're always going to be disappointed. The Great Gatsby is a lot about who the characters and the symbolism of the oculist poster and the green light at the end of Daisy's dock, and they got all those things in. I loved it, and I love the book too, but separately.

    Have a wonderful weekend!
