Forbidden Friday (37)~My Poison Pile (39) + On the Blog This Week (29) + Tip of the Week (24)

Forbidden Friday is a blog feature created here at The Reader's Antidote, with my three features My Poison Pile, On the Blog This Week, and Tip of the Week.

My Poison Pile is a feature created by me. It features my current read and the next four books that I plan on reading.

On the Blog This Week is pretty self-explanatory, but I basically recap what's been happening on the blog this past week.

Tip of the Week is where I endow some random tidbit of information onto you, whether it's with books, blogging or life!
This isn't so much a tip as an experience. I just got home from a playoff hockey game where the Detroit Red Wings (my team) beat the Anaheim Ducks (ew) in overtime! Going to a hockey game (especially a playoff hockey game) is to this day one of best and most nerve-racking things I experience. It's amazing what adrenaline can do, and you're not even playing. I got to see some of my favorite players up close. And I also got to see how perseverance can really push you that last leg, especially when the game is on the line. I guess that applies to life too; if you just make the effort and finish what you started, then you'll succeed. Although, in hockey, there will always be a winner and there will always be a loser. But I think you're all winners! Okay, that was lame, but you know what I mean...

  1. Awesome you'll be reading Siege and Storm. I got this from Edelweiss and am saving it for my vacation in June.

I always appreciate comments and cherish every one of them. THIS IS AN AWARD-FREE ZONE. I don't have the time to fulfill the requirements for the awards, but thank you so much for thinking of me. I just ask for no vulgarity, and if you have any issues with my reviews or writing style, please e-mail me instead of commenting. Now, vent to your heart's content!
