Forbidden Friday (17) ~ My Poison Pile (19) + On the Blog This Week (9) + Tip of the Week (4)

Forbidden Friday is a blog feature created here at The Reader's Antidote, with my two features My Poison Pile and On the Blog This Week. In My Mailbox will now be in a separate post.

My Poison Pile is a meme created here at The Reader's Antidote, which features my current read and the next four books that I'm going to read.

(for school)

On the Blog This Week is pretty self-explanatory, but I just basically recap what's been happening on the blog this past week.

Tip of the Week is a feature where I endow some random tidbit of information onto you, whether it's with blogging, books, or life.

It really sucks to be sick when you're in school, so try not to get sick. I know, this isn't really a new thing, but I've been sick for over a week now and it's done a few unsavory things. First, it's made me more tired, so I end up reading less and having to step back from essays more so I can get better focus or take a nap. It's also made me be one of those people in class that coughs at the most awkward moments. You sneer at those people when they do it, but when you are that person, you realize that there's really nothing you can do besides drink water and suck on cough drops constantly. And I haven't really been able to go out at night, because I know if I do that I'll just get worse and then I might fall behind in school. Luckily, I have my own room, otherwise I'd feel so bad for keeping my roommate up all night with my coughing and nose-blowing. And I have no parents to fawn over me and make sure I get better. So, seriously, don't get sick up at college. Also, tea is very good for the throat and just in general. Just sayin'.

  1. How do you have the time to read so much while you're in school?! I haven't read a book in like, a week!!! RIDICULOUS! Enjoy your awesomeness you jerk.
