Tip of the Week is a feature where I endow some random tidbit of information onto you, whether it's with blogging, books, or life.
Transcendentalism is one of the hardest topics to read and therefore understand. If you're not getting what one of the dead guys is saying, read the passage twice. The first time, you're just trying to figure out what words they're using and why they're using them in that context and why are they capitalized? But then you read it again, and while it might not still make sense to you, it should help you get the gist of what they're trying to say. I learned this the hard way.
