ALA Summer Read-A-Thon Day One Wrap-Up

Yesterday was the first full day of the ALA Read-A-Thon, and I'm pretty proud of what I've read so far. I completely finished The Crown of Embers by Rae Carson, and it was beyond amazing. I am so in love with this world the author has created. Then, after a well-earned break, I started Prodigy by Marie Lu, and I already have a sense of dread of how this book is going to end. But overall I've read 517 pages, 410 of those being from The Crown of Embers. Today, my goal is to finish Prodigy and start Hidden. But Hidden is pretty short, so I might even finish it today depending on how well I do with Prodigy.

How did your guys' first day go? Did you read your goal for Day 1? Let me know in the comments!

  1. You are crazy!
I haven't really started yet. I'm trying though! There might be Downton Abbey in my future. I'm hoping to make a big dent this weekend. Good luck Nicole!
