Mrs. Nelson's Fierce Reads Tour Stop: Recap & EPIC GIVEAWAY!

Tonight, I had the great pleasure of being the designated blogger for this Fierce Reads tour stop. What does this mean, you ask? Well, before the signing I got to do a Q&A with all of the authors. Then I got a seat in the front that was reserved just for me. And, the best thing for you guys, is that I was sent every author's newest books for them to sign and then give away. That's right, all six books. I wasn't lying when I said EPIC! Anyway, onto the recap. I did the Q&A with the recording app on my iPad, but I'm not sure if it's going to work. Also, it's hard to hear a few authors at some parts so I apologize for that. Sometimes there were cars passing by and I had to record it on my phone and then play it back in the video. Also it's in two parts. ALSO, the first one overlaps into the second one, so be patient please! Next time, I will not completely fail like I did here.

Hopefully you knew who everyone was. As you can tell these guys were a lot of fun.

Then we went inside for the actual event. They started the event by showing everyone's book trailers. You should check all of them out, but Struck's trailer gave me chills. Like seriously. Then all the authors talked about their books and how they came to write them, which was really interesting. You can check out my tweets (under #fiercereads) to find out some of the info from that. These ladies have really great chemistry and so if you're able to make it to one of these stops, you really should. It was such a blast!

Here is more info about the authors and their books:

She started self "publishing" her own books when she was seven years old, binding the pages together with cardboard, wallpaper samples and electrical tape. In four short years, Jessica has sold nine novels. 52 Reasons Why I Hate My Father has been optioned for a film.

    1. Oh, totally forgot about your original question. I have read Cinder and it was a pretty awesome book. I love fairy tale retellings! Currently reading Shadow and Bone, and it is amazing (although I've only had time to read 15 or so pages, it's still so darn cool)! I plan to read Monument 14 afterwards because Emmy Laybourne is such a hilarious person, there is no way I wouldn't read her book.
