ALA Excitement + Cover Poison: Tiger's Destiny and Soul Screamers Omnibus #2

So it became official today: I am beyond stoked for ALA. Why, you ask? What happened to make this happen? Well it started with knowing that Prodigy, the sequel to Legend by Marie Lu will be sitting at the Penguin booth. Other notables should be Days of Blood and Starlight, Crown of Embers, Reached, The Diviners, The Raven Boys, Carnival of Souls, basically anything Harperteen, Girl of Nightmares and so on. But the two that really pushed me over the edge were: Unravel Me, the sequel to Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi; and Scarlet, the sequel to Cinder by Marissa Meyer. I am so in love with both of these debuts, and the sequels are both some of my most highly anticipated books. And, on top of that, they'll be signing these ARC's at the conference!!! I can't wait to see these ladies again, as well as some of the other authors with awesome books coming out. Honestly, this is going to be so amazing. If you're able to come to ALA, let me know in the comments so maybe we can meet up. I have NO more room on my shelves, but I will make room. You'll see.

I have two amazing covers for you guys! First is the cover for the fourth book in the Tiger Saga by Colleen Houck:

PUBLISHED: September 4th

With three of the goddess Durga's quests behind them, only one prophecy now stands in the way of Kelsey, Ren, and Kishan breaking the tiger's curse. But the trio's greatest challenge awaits them: A life-endangering pursuit in search of Durga's final gift, the Rope of Fire, on the Adaman Islands in the Bay of Bengal.
It's a race against time--and the evil sorcerer Lokesh--in this eagerly anticipated fourth volume of the bestselling Tiger's Curse series, which pits good against evil, tests the bonds of love and loyalty, and finally reveals the tiger's' true destiny once and for all.
My thoughts: So I totally have a copy of the first book at home, but I'd really like them all to come out in paperback before I start reading. I may need to buy the paperback versions from the Book Depository because I'd have to wait SO love for that to happen. But I love these covers!

And the cover for the second omnibus in the Soul Screamers novels:

PUBLISHED: November 13th

My Soul to Keep:
Kaylee has one addiction: her very hot, very popular boyfriend, Nash. A banshee like Kaylee, Nash understands her like no one else. Nothing can come between them. Until something does. Demon breath. No, not the toothpaste-challenged kind. The Netherworld kind. The kind that really can kill you. Somehow the super-addictive substance has made its way to the human world. But how? Kaylee and Nash have to cut off the source and protect their friends—one of whom is already hooked. And so is someone else…
My Soul to Steal:
Trying to work things out with Nash—her maybe boyfriend—is hard enough for Kaylee Cavanaugh. She can't just pretend nothing happened. But "complicated" doesn't even begin to describe their relationship when his ex-girlfriend transfers to their school, determined to take Nash back.
See, Sabine isn't just an ordinary girl. She's a mara, the living personification of a nightmare. She can read people's fears—and craft them into nightmares while her victims sleep. Feeding from human fear is how she survives.
And Sabine isn't above scaring Kaylee and the entire school to death to get whatever—and whoever—she wants.
My thoughts: I absolutely adore this series. It's taken some crazy turns (and I don't agree with all of them), but one thing that I cannot argue with is how breath-taking these covers have become. And this one is no different.
What do you guys think of the covers? Let me know in the comments!
