Cover Poison: Onyx (Lux #2) by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Tonight, I'm revealing the cover for Onyx by Jennifer L. Armentrout. The first book of the series, Obsidian (Lux #1), releases on December 6th, which is tomorrow! I haven't read it yet, but I've heard only amazing things. It's definitely on my wish list, along with Half-Blood (Covenant #1).

First, a little about the first book in the series, Obsidian:

Starting over sucks.

When we moved to West Virginia right before my senior year, I’d pretty much resigned myself to thick accents, dodgy internet access, and a whole lot of boring…. until I spotted my hot neighbor, with his looming height and eerie green eyes. Things were looking up.

And then he opened his mouth.

Daemon is infuriating. Arrogant. Stab-worthy. We do not get along. At all. But when a stranger attacks me and Daemon literally freezes time with a wave of his hand, well, something…unexpected happens.

The hot alien living next door marks me.

You heard me. Alien. Turns out Daemon and his sister have a galaxy of enemies wanting to steal their abilities, and Daemon’s touch has me lit up like the Vegas Strip. The only way I’m getting out of this alive is by sticking close to Daemon until my alien mojo fades.

If I don’t kill him first, that is.

You want to read it now, right? I know I do! Well, guess what? I'm going to tell you where you can order a copy:

Now go and buy a copy! But, before you leave, I'm sure you want to see the cover for Onyx, the second book in the series. Yes? Here it is, with a non-spoilery tagline!

No one is who they seem. And not everyone will survive the lies…

Isn't it just beautiful? As much as I love the color green, I really like this cover more than the first one. Possibly look for Obsidian in my next IMM, because I am seriously tempted. Aliens!

  1. Yikes ! I forgot the release date on this one o.O I have it.. I just .. forgot to read it.. sigh.. better get on that! lol. Hope its as good as it seems :)

  2. Looks interesting. I'll have to give it a try.

  3. Passionate Bookworm, I really want to read this one, but I'm waiting to get my Christmas Amazon gift cards in order to buy it and a billion others :D

Laura, I've heard only good things about it!
